This isn&#8217;t because people don\u2019t care about values. The more this happens, the greater the gap between what an organisation says it stands for and what it will actually tolerate, even during high-pressure moments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Employees notice this gap quickly. Their response to this can be damaging, leading to disengagement and lowered expectations.
